Yes, I write
I sent my 2017 NaNoWriMo novel to the People's Library project in early 2018, it is to be published in September. My current novel is called Rice, a story about a Chinese mother who who was very sad and what happened when she decided to die.
I write almost every day and belong to two writers groups on top of the things I do in the Launceston writing community.
Some of you might want to see some of my writing, well you came to the right place. My Blog is now live.
Writing Community
I fell into the writing community by chance by attending the first Write Here meet up, not long after that I was stepped up to help facilitate the meeting. The group has evolved into a place for Launceston writers to network and socialise.
Another, less formal network of writers is the NaNoWriMo writers. I met most of them through the Write Here group. I had attempted to write a novel before, but it wasn't until 2017 and with the grateful support of the NaNoWriMo community that I finished a novel.
And finally, my latest project is One Line Novel, it's in the pipeline as a place online to other support writers on their journey.
